Everything you need to dive into Obojima’s brand-new potion brewing system. This boxed set includes 135 beautifully illustrated ingredient reference cards and 180 potion reference cards, perfect for quick reference or character inventory tracking.
Everything about it was solid! ...except there was a misprint on the Utility Potions (blue cards). The Rare and Uncommon level potions were printed as "Potions: Combat." Maybe I missed a stated fact on the product page that these were 20% off because of the misprint, and that's okay--but I don't remember anything being mentioned. If this is ever corrected and it's possible to get the corrected versions without buying a whole new set, I'd be quite honored. Other than that, I absolutely love Obojima (my players and I are having a fantastic time so far playing around in this world), and I love all these products. Thanks so much!
Wonderful set up and beautiful art. Really excited to use this in the campaign I'm running and the potion system seems so fun and interesting.
The only issue is that all of the Uncommon and Rare Utility potions say on the back of the cards
"Potions: Combat" instead of Utility.
I bought these cards to spice up a regular 5e game and my players really love them! The potions-making mechanic is a fun addition for them, and I make it mysterious by allowing players to pick from the deck of ingredients at random.
So, I hope to get in contact with someone but I do love these cards but mine never came with uncommon or rare ingredient cards, I have two decks of common ingredient, I hope to maybe get sent some uncommon and rare ingredient cards cause it’s a big reason I wanted the card deck so I have something physical to look at instead of scrolling through a book
My DnD group jumped into the Obojima 5e book that recently had come out and then I found this beauty advertised on Instagram and HAD to get it. Does it disappoint? Does a black hole shoot out gifts everywhere? Absolutely not! A fantastic purchase and exciting potion brewing to be had at our next DnD session! Thank you, Obojima! Keep up the amazing work!!!
My player who has been using a more apothecary character build has adored these cards! I love the artwork and I’ve been using them when she harvests so that she can keep track of what she gets but once she crafts a potion, she returns the cards to me. It has really amplified our gaming experience
Its so cool but the ingredient cards for uncommon and rare were replaced by a second common deck. I know someone already commented on this, but I thought id share too.
The cards were packaged nicely, and the box is sturdy with built in organization. The cards themselves were a good weight and seems like it would be able to withstand a great deal of use over time. The art is beautiful, and never gets boring to look at! Can't recommend this enough
So many cards and possibilities! This is a MASSIVE addition to what you could do in a campaign and implement it in any 5e if you wanted. Solid card quality and unique art for every item.
Love how the system works on how you can mix and match ingredients to make the potions, and there's so many kinds of potions from being just for goofs to really powerful. I wish the ingredients themselves had more to them like their own effects if eaten raw, but still A+ from me.
